Hoity

Hoity

This to the gilded aristocrat: posh, prim, genteel, and proper

Eloquently refined in taste and manners, but in desperate need of an eye doctor

For his obvious attempts to look down on level ground recant the wisdom of heaven

Tis shame that even beast and fowl know how very low it is to shun your brethren

Yet and still he seeks the separatists path with an astonishing lack of human might

Protected from squalor by a silver utensil which provides him advantageous station in life

Oh, but some of blue blood still dare to exemplify true nobility of character indeed

Knowing that abundant material wealth has its place, but man shall be judged by deeds

Surely some of his thoughts wrinkle the forehead causing him to be just a bit rude

But imagine these thoughts without the frills and with the necessity of obtaining shelter and food

Our Creator set our value as the thing that the strongest man could never possibly budge

So it is imperative for us all to remember to judge not lest ye be judged

Aristocracy is mere blessing; to be added to the many talents in service of our motley crew

Clarity, is knowing that the great wall that separates us is as unstable as an investment or two
